BMW motorcycles are produced by Motorad, a German company that has been in this business since the early 1920s. Although the beginnings of the company are closely related to the production of aircraft, it was in 1923 that the first motorcycle was produced in a factory. Currently, they have plants in Berlin, Austria, Taiwan and China.
